Assignment 2 : TASK 2 GET A LIFE

For my second task in the assignment two, I was choosing “GET A LIFE.”

I did the same thing like my first task; I was listening again and again till I knew what Prof David Crystal was talking. Although, my listening skill isn’t good but I was really like to finish it the passage and tried to understand.

I found the new vocabulary like “DEROGATORY, JOCULAR & WORKAHOLIC.” Honestly, I’m not sure what the meaning is, so I was referring to the dictionary and I found that meaning. However, I won’t give up. I read the transcript and finally I got what I want.

After this, I will use this website to increase my listening skill.

Assignment 2 : TASK 1 BLESS

For my first task in the assignment two, I was choosing “BLESS.”

The topic that I chose “Bless” it was really hard to understand. So, I heard many times to get the information and I jot down the new words which I don’t understand. Basically, I’m not sure how many times I had been listened, I thought more than twice or over. Okay, I just want to share what I’d been done after I was listened the Bless.

Further more, I can’t catch all the words on the spot, but I was trying my best to understand what Prof David Crystal said. I repeat the audio again and again; finally I knew what Prof David Crystal was talking. He said, “everyone needs to be blessing, respects and appreciate; this is the three things that human being need.”

Actually, a lot of many meaning the word of bless. It depends on the person how it does to understand and applies in their life. For me, bless is like award. Imagine that if you’ve an award and how you’re appreciating it. So, in every aspect of our life bless is need. I suggest that start from now you should be doing bless.

Assignment 1 : Writing a Self-Assessment Essay

This is my first assignment for my first blog. I did my best job to write down and give some comments. Actually I’m not good in writing skill. But I’m still trying my best to be perfect in English. However, It’s really hard for me to catch new things at the same time, yet through it all I’m convincing if you are grimly determined you will do what you have to do.

Okay, before that. I’m really like to introduce myself. As you’ve known, I’m quite silent guy. I dislike talking and communicating with new person who being unknown but please don’t think I’m arrogant.

Here we go to the first point. Why English is important!

If I’m asking my self, why I should be in this class? I always saying in my mind I’ve to improve all my English skills such as listening, reading, writing, vocabulary and so on. Every aspect in English skills is necessary.

I think that, my reading skill is good but I still need to improve the way I pronounce the hard word and new word which is rare to listen everyday.

I know my weakness is in writing skill. I believe my friends share the same thing with me. When I do my writing composition and it’s done, I always thinking about my grammar. I’m scarred if it has a lot of mistakes and the examiner can’t read well and hard to understand. That’s why I’m not confidence to make it. After all, I was getting involved in my English class I really like to write an essay although it’s so fun to read.

Thus time went by; I’m really confident and thankful to Miss Rajina because she really helps me to increase my level. Indeed, so many things I’ve to explain but I don’t have good idea. The last but not least I’m really honour to be in Foundation Class.
